Japan lost.
Zico did not have much tactics and discipline. This miserable result have been dicided since Zico started his first experience of coach. We need Arsène Wenger or Péricles Chamusca. These guys suit for next coach of Japanese national team. They have a vision to improve team. Anyway we need good coach! Forward players were not tough to get a goal. Especially Yanagisawa was disgasting. He missed the shot which shot from very close to the goal. If he got the goal againt Croatia, they could win the game.

Japan got 1 point after the result of recent match against Cloatia. They had a lot of chances to win but also had a lot of chance to lose. However, they still have a possibility to go onto the next round of matches. It will be a hard way to beat Brazil. If they win against Brazil, it will be the biggest upset of this World Cup.

Japan had lost

Japan had lost the first match of the World Cup in Germany. It will be difficult after this result to go onto the next round of matches. As you know Croatia won the play-off for third place in 1998 , and Brazil won the World Cup fifth and are title holder. I believe Japan has a potential to beat both team. The coach Zico is not good at tactics and it seemed he didn't have any game plan against Australia. Zico is called as God of soccer in Japan, however he is not a God of coach.

World Cup

Holland won the first match against Serbia. They belong to the toughest group in this World Cup. They must be place at least second in their group, which include Serbia, Algentina and Cote d'Ivoire to go onto the next round of matches. This group has many good teams and it is a tough group. I'm a big fan of Robben on the Holland team who got a goal yesterday. He played well and was the match MVP. However I think he can play better than yesterday. He showed just a little of his ability. If they pass the group league. He will be one of the most impressive player in this world cup. Today Japanese National Team will play their first match against Australia. World Cup

The World Cup will start today. Germany have to play the opening match in this tournament. So, a few leading contenders could win the opening much. In 2002, the previous champion France National team was defeated by Senegal in the opening match. However, Germany belongs to easy group to win, and they have a rich tradition to win a world cup even if they seems to vulnerable. No one thought they reached to the final at last World Cup in Japan.
I watched two world cup games in Oita, Japan in 2002. I watched the goal which Alex Del Piero got and brought Italy to the final tournament. It must be the last world cup to him and other veteran such as Zidane, Inzaghi, Cafu, Ronald, Beckham and Ballack. I'm lokking forward to watch them play. Of course I cheer for the Japan National team.

Fireflies

I went to the Fireflies Festival on Saturday at Nanase River Park. We could see a few fireflies which might be released just before opening it. We went their last year and saw a few fireflies, the festival had already finished. So we thought the best day had already gone at that time. It might be the best day to hold a festival, but there were a few fireflies. I supporse that fireflies are now decreasing because of getting dirty of river. I think, there were a lot of fireflies when the festival had been established. The earth is getting dirty.
